Mighty Miracles Procedures
Below is a list of our procedures we use to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our Mighty Miracles.
Nursery Check-In:
Please check your child in at the Greeter’s Desk. You will be given a beeper with a number. Your child and his/her belongings will also be labeled with this number. Please keep this beeper with you at all times.
We will page you if you are needed in the nursery by signaling the beeper to vibrate. (We will not allow your child to cry more than 10 min. unless otherwise instructed).
You will also fill out an information sheet each time to let our workers know how to care for your child.
A Greeter will assist your child to his/her room.
Remember to say your goodbyes at the desk. This helps the other children to stay calm and cuts down on traffic.
Nursery Check-Out:
To check your child out, bring your beeper back to the Greeter’s Desk. A Greeter will assist your child and collect his/her belongings. Your child will be released only to the adult with your child’s beeper.
Only approved workers need to be in the nursery areas. A nursing mother or a parent caring for a distressed child is welcome.
Please be sure your child’s belongings (containers, bottles, cups, pacifiers, etc.) are labeled. If they are not, the workers will do this for you to ensure they do not end up in the wrong hands.
Please leave toys and candy at home (children will not be given any type of candy in the nursery).
During service, there will be a group prayer time when all children and their families will be prayed over.
Every child will be changed or taken to the potty at least once during every service.
Health Alert: To maintain a healthy environment, please keep your child at home if any of these symptoms are present: fever any time during the past 30 hours, yellow or green nasal discharge, redness in or discharge from one or both eyes, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent coughing or sneezing, suspicious rash, other contagious conditions. Our Greeters may ask you to keep your child with you if a symptom is questionable.
We strive to implement procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for your child. All Mighty Miracle Volunteers attend a training class to learn these policies before serving in the Nursery areas.
Mighty Miracle University provides necessary training required for all Miracle Helpers and is offered quarterly to those interested in becoming part of this precious ministry.
