The Middle School ministry at The Grove seeks to change the face of Middle Schools in the upper cumberland area by affecting one student at a time. We have an amazing group of middle schoolers here at The Groove that are hungry to be different than the status quo.
Our amazing Middle School ministry head Jeff Eddlemon leads the Wednesday night activities - ELEV8 - for our Middle Schoolers in partnership with Lifechurch's Jesse Schmeling. We have an awesome team of adult leaders that are here to provide a strong support for our students as well.
The Middle school ministry here reaches out to adolescents and teens ranging from 6th grade to 8th grade. We are a frequent staple in the local schools here in Putnam County: Avery Trace, Prescott South, and Algood. We offer school pickup for students from each of those schools every Wednesday night, so no student is without a way to get to ELEV8!
We also value the joining of our middle school with the older age group of high schoolers. Each Sunday, The Groove in the AM joins all the students at The Grove for a service made just for them. At 9:30, our students hook up for some great student-led worship, a quick message from Pastor Z, and the best part of all; SMALL GROUPS! The Groove (Middle School) meets:
On Sundays at 9:30am in the gym at the Grove
On Wednesdays at 6:00pm at the Edge property (near CHS)
